Dear friends of LICTD,

I'm happy to announce the first news concerning the new official line-up of Love Is Colder Than Death.

First we welcome on board our new singer, Anja Herrmann, live percussion player for the band for many years, steps to the front on microphone. Her unique voice re-enchants the scene.

Since 2010 we have incorporated Justus Kriewald, who usually works as a composer and sound designer, on keyboards. He also will support us on backing vocals.

Ulrich Stornowski, a seasoned percussion player, multi-instrumentalist and background vocalist, further enriches the line-up, as does the work of Peter Barczewski, the fabulous 3D- and multimedia artist, who created our video installations to fuse with the live music to create a new-born acoustic-visual show.

I am the constant again, as before.

Our first gig will be on Friday, 25th May 10:30 p.m., at Centraltheater Leipzig (the former Schauspielhaus) during the Wave-Gotik-Treffen festival 2012.

Our new album probably will be released in September. Until then we will exclusively release a teaser of it during Wave Gotik Treffen, a special advance edition of the album.

You see, we didn't and won't waste our time. The new beginning has begun and I'm looking forward to it like... never before.
